What is a three eccentric butterfly valve?

A three eccentric butterfly valve is one in which the axis of the valve stem deviates from both the center of the disc and the center of the body, and the axis of the valve seat rotation is at a certain angle to the axis of the valve body channel.

Three eccentric butterfly valves are widely used in industrial pipelines such as metallurgy, power, petrochemicals, water supply and drainage, and municipal construction where the medium temperature is ≤ 425 ℃. They are used to regulate flow and cut off fluid. The materials are divided into cast iron, cast steel, and stainless steel.

Triple eccentric butterfly valves are widely used in industrial pipelines such as metallurgy, power, petrochemicals, water supply and drainage, and municipal construction where the medium temperature is ≤ 425 ℃. They are used to regulate flow and cut off fluid. The butterfly valve adopts a three eccentric structure, and the valve seat and disc sealing surface are made of different hardness and stainless steel, which has good corrosion resistance and long service life. This valve has multi-level sealing function, and the product meets the national GB/T13927-92 valve pressure test standard.

The three eccentric butterfly valve adopts a three eccentric metal sealing structure, with the valve stem axis offset from the sealing surface of the butterfly plate and offset from the valve body channel axis. The valve seat rotation axis forms an eccentric angle with the valve body channel axis. When opened, the sealing surface of the butterfly plate will immediately detach from the sealing surface of the valve seat at the moment of opening. When it is closed, only at the moment of closing, the conical sealing surface of the butterfly plate will contact and compress the conical sealing surface of the valve seat. So there is no friction between the sealing surface on the valve seat and butterfly plate, eliminating the possibility of wear and leakage.
